In this role you will build and drive Q8Miles' Loyalty, Rewards, and Financial partner portfolio โ operating with an entrepreneurial mindset to shape the future of the channel.
What You'll Do
- Architect the channel: Devise and drive the end-to-end strategy across partners; diagnose gaps, prioritize investment, and build scalable program models.
- Diversify into new verticals: Explore banking, investing, travel, and rewards partnerships to expand our reach.
- Own the partnerships: Cultivate C-suite relationships and negotiate commercial constructs โ incentives, funding, campaign mechanics โ that unlock partner growth.
- Launch with impact: Design consumer acquisition and redemption campaigns; connect teams to move bold ideas through to closure with pace.
- Drive performance: Own forecast, KPIs, and reporting; integrating this channel into the broader Q8Miles growth strategy.
What You'll Need
- 5 - 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, channel sales, or strategic account management โ ideally within loyalty, financial services, retail, or consumer technology.
- Proven track record of designing and executing consumer-facing acquisition and/or loyalty redemption programs at scale.
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex commercial agreements with senior partner stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen โ comfortable building business cases, forecasts, and ROI analyses.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Legal teams.
- Experience using data tools (Excel, Tableau, or similar) and familiarity with AI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
Skills That Stand Out
We're looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to identify, negotiate, and manage high-impact partnerships with airlines, hotel chains, fintech companies, and loyalty programs that drive user acquisition and revenue growth.
What You'll Do
- Identify & source partners: Research and prioritize potential partners in travel, fintech, and adjacent industries.
- Lead negotiations: Structure and close partnership agreements including revenue share, fixed fee, and hybrid models.
- Manage partner relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring mutual success and growth.
- Launch go-to-market initiatives: Collaborate with marketing to co-create campaigns that drive customer acquisition.
- Track & optimize performance: Monitor partner performance against KPIs and identify opportunities for expansion.
What You'll Need
- 4 - 7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management in travel, fintech, or tech.
- Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close partnership deals.
- Strong commercial instinct and ability to structure creative deal terms.
- Excellent project management skills โ ability to manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
- Comfortable with data analysis to track partnership performance and ROI.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
